Generally, having a road trip is fun, but having it with everyone is a lot better. However, cars have limited space, and most can only accommodate a few persons. Although there are some that are large enough, which can be rented or purchased, the expenses would probably increase tremendously. If you are in this situation, unless you already have a spacious vehicle or you have enough money to buy one, then you have to travel by caravan. Do not worry; it can be just as exciting, as long as you follow these tips.
First off, create at least three plans with everyone, including your routes and stopovers; one for your main course and the other two will serve as backups. Also, consider handing out exactly the same road maps to the other drivers so as to avoid confusion. Second, make sure that everybody brings fully charged mobile phones. Third, determine whether you prefer driving as a convoy or just meeting up at every rest stop. If you choose the former, decide who will go first and who will go last.
Next, while you are on the road, see to it that the front row driver knows how to check the one following behind. For instance, when he decides to shift lanes, he should turn his signal lights on and wait for the other driver to react before he does so. This is due to the fact that the one at the back will have a harder of it as his decisions will be limited. Furthermore, if the leader is the only one who makes it through a traffic light, he should pull over to the side. Finally, you also need to make sure that you are able to inform each other with everything that is happening using the mobile phones that you prepared beforehand.
